VICKSBURG, Miss. (AP) - A Vicksburg man has been killed in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 20.
Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey tells the Vicksburg Post (http://bit.ly/mWIdt3) that 57-year-old Willie L. Williams was killed Monday when his 1993 Jeep left the highway and struck a tree west of Bovina.
Huskey says Williams was pronounced dead at the River Region Medical Center emergency room Vicksburg from trauma to the chest and abdomen. A passenger in the vehicle was treated and released.
Mississippi Highway Patrol Cpl. Odis Easterling says the cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
