NEWTON, Miss. (AP) - Police in Newton have charged man in the death of his wife.
Police Chief Harvey Curry tells WTOK TV (http://bit.ly/qbS5Rp ) 48-year-old Paul Campbell was formally charged with murder this week in the death of 65-year-old Georgia Campbell.
He says her body was discovered at home Saturday, after police received a phone call.
Curry said Mrs. Campbell died of blunt force trauma.
Paul Campbell's bond was set at $750,000. It was unclear whether he has an attorney.
