GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - Friends and family greeted members of the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 7 on their return from Iraq and Afghanistan.
A plane carrying 310 Seabees arrived in Mississippi on Saturday.
A unit spokesman said no casualties occurred among the Gulfport-based Seabees during their battle-zone tour. They were part of 600 Seabees deployed to the Middle East. The remainder are expected to return in mid-March.
