Two Jones County suspects were placed behind bars Wednesday by Narcotic Investigators with the Jones County Sheriff’s Department for drugs while in possession of a firearm.
Sheriff Alex Hodge said a search warrant was executed at the 600 block of East Main Street in Sandersville concerning the manufacturing of methamphetamine that landed the arrest of Justin Sellers, 25 and Toni Herford, 18 both of Sandersville.
According to Sheriff Alex Hodge, “When Investigators arrived at the residence they discovered that Sellers and Herford were inside the home in possession of a firearm, precursors, and large quantify of methamphetamine.
They were arrested without incident and charged for manufacturing methamphetamine while in possession of a firearm.
“An undisclosed amount of currency was also seized in the arrest,” Hodge said.
Both suspects remain in the Jones County Adult Detention Center.
