Groups to host Environmental Education Conference

    ELLISVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Jones County Junior College and the
Southeast Mississippi Resource Conservation & Development Council
will host the first Environmental Education Conference and
Exhibitor Networking Conference, Underneath All Is Soil.
    The event will be held Nov. 5 at the JCJC Advanced Technology
Center in the Howard Technology Park in Ellisville.
    Conference topics include flood plain management, environmental
regulations, and a case study of a construction project gone wrong.
Natural resource exhibitors will acquaint participants with
material solutions to conservation challenges.
    The conference is for engineers, landscapers, loggers,
registered foresters, elected officials, site developers, realtors,
contractors, land developers, conservationists, and private
landowners.
