The National Weather Service office in Jackson, Mississippi has placed Jones County under a TORNADO WATCH until 8:00 P.M. this evening. A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes in and near the Watch Area. Please broadcast this Tornado Watch to your viewers, listeners and readers immediately. Further information on severe weather watches and warnings will be forwarded to you from the Jones County Emergency Management Agency as conditions warrant.
