Hattiesburg, MS (February 23, 2010) —On the heels of the Superbowl XLIV victory, New Orleans Saints’ star kicker Garrett Hartley will appear at Turtle Creek Mall for an autograph session. Garrett will sign autographs on Wednesday, March 3rd from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The event will be held just outside Gulf Coast Cards and Collectibles, in the Gap Court at Turtle Creek Mall.
Hartley was signed by the New Orleans Saints on October 29, 2008 and has enjoyed a very successful professional career from the start. Hartley came out strong, booting 13 for 13 field goal attempts for the 2008 season. His successes in his 2010 career include his January 24 forty-yard field goal in overtime against the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship game to send the New Orleans Saints to their first Super Bowl. He continued in Super Bowl XLIV, going 3-for-3 with field goals of 46, 44, and 47 yards. He became the first kicker in Super Bowl history to convert three field goals of 40 yards or more.
“Turtle Creek Mall is delighted to continue giving the loyal New Orleans Saints football fans in Hattiesburg the opportunity to meet and greet the players,” said Group Marketing Director Jana Kuner. “Given Garrett Hartley’s track record of success as the kicker for the team, I am sure this autograph session will be very well received” she added.
Tickets to the event are available in advance for $15 for one autograph or 2 autographs for $25. Each ticket holder will receive an autograph from Garrett Hartley, including a certificate of authenticity to accompany the autograph. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 601.599.2273. There are a limited number of tickets available and they will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

That is great! For sure many fans of Garett will be coming to that venue. Many foot ball fans will be delighted with that. And I will be waiting next for another signing event that includes baseball players this time. I guess Joe Nathan will have long and available time for that since he will not be playing this season because of his injury.
